How do I play?
Jump & Capture is Alquerque on a 5×5 board. Move along the lines, jump over enemies to capture, and win by taking all pieces or leaving your opponent with no moves. Captures are optional — after a jump you can continue or end your turn.
What modes are available?
Strategy puzzles, Smart AI Opponent, Pass & Play, Play With Friend (invite codes), Same Wi‑Fi, and online matchmaking. Online, Local Multiplayer, and Play With Friend use a 60-second turn timer.
How does online sign-in work?
Online features use Firebase anonymous sign-in. The app does not ask for an email or password. iOS also uses Apple Game Center; Android uses Google Play Games.
How do friend codes work?
Copy and paste a friend code with the clipboard. The app does not store clipboard contents.
I declined tracking and still see ads
On iOS, declining App Tracking Transparency still shows non-personalized ads. Buy Remove Ads to turn ads off. Purchases go through Apple or Google — we only learn whether Remove Ads is active.
Can I turn off play reminders?
Local reminders run only if you turn notifications on. Turn them off in the app’s settings or in system Settings.
Delete your data
Deleting the app removes display name, character, progress, settings, and Remove Ads status stored on that device.
To ask us to delete the server profile (anonymous Firebase account and Firestore profile), email hello@maverickcodebase.com with the subject “Jump & Capture data deletion request”. Include your display name and whether you play on iPhone or Android.
