Overview
Scan Sprint helps you scan, edit, and organize documents as PDFs on your device. This page explains what stays on your device, what the app may use, and how you can delete your data.
Local storage
Your scans, folders, and settings stay on your device. We do not upload your document images or PDFs to our servers. Files leave your device only when you export or share them yourself.
Camera and photos
Camera and photo access are only for capturing or importing pages to scan. Edge detection and OCR run on your device. Photos stay on your device unless you share them yourself.
Biometrics
App lock uses your phone’s built-in face or fingerprint unlock. That unlock data stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Account and authentication
When you sign in with email, Google, or Apple (on iOS), we keep only what’s needed to stay signed in on this device. You can also continue without an account.
Analytics and crash reports
We use basic usage and crash reports to improve the app. This may include how you use the app, device info, and your account ID. We do not sell this information or use it for ads.
Subscriptions and billing
Premium is billed through the App Store or Google Play. We only see whether your subscription is active — never your full card number.
We don’t sell your data
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your scans with advertisers.
Deleting your data
In Account, use Delete account to sign out, remove your account when possible, and clear scans and settings on this device. You can also clear app storage or uninstall.
Children
Scan Sprint is meant for people 13 and older.
